Summer 2018 Continued Updates at Offcloud

Summer 2018 is bringing quite some heat, but it has not prevented us from continuously updating our platform.

We are pleased to inform you that we brought several improvements to Offcloud over the past weeks.

Improved remote upload to OneDrive

We spent tremendous efforts into improving the way Offcloud uploads files to Microsoft OneDrive, especially OneDrive for Business. Offcloud is now more stable, especially with larger files.

Improved torrent caching system

We also spend much time enhancing the performance of our BitTorrent engine. It is now capable of handling more magnets in the system cache, thereby increasing downloading speeds.

Support added for Filer.net, Salesfiles.com & Filespace.com

We are happy to announce that Offcloud now downloads files from filer.net, salesfiles.com and filespace.com with no restrictions. They complement the dozen of file-hosting sites we currently support. (See full list here)

Improved frontend and proxy performance

We also ensured that our web application is faster thanks to HTML5 frontend improvements. And we added more capacity to our proxy network, so as to offer better overall download & upload speeds.

A place for tutorials and guides: learn.offcloud.com

Finally, we are excited to announce that we just launched “Offcloud Learn” available at learn.offcloud.com, a directory of tutorials and guides that will help you learn how to use Offcloud.

We wish you a great summer and we look forward to keeping you updated again in a near future.

Offcloud.com is a cloud-based download manager that lets you fetch, unlock or speed up any content found on the web directly to your device or to some cloud storage space.
