Sir Richard Branson, the ever-bold and daring Virgin Group founder and serial entrepreneur extraordinaire, has always tried to push boundaries past their limits. Under his Virgin brand, he characteristically launched a revolutionary venture called Virgin Galactic. His grandest venture to date has set its sights on space. which aims to pioneer space tourism for mankind.

2. SpaceX

Elon Musk, the PayPal entrepreneur turned Tesla and Solar City billionaire who became the inspiration for the Iron Man film joined the race to space with his very own SpaceX. It designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft with the ultimate goal of enabling mankind to travel to and from and live on other planets.

3. Blue Origin

Not one to be left behind, Jeff Bezos, the founder of the e-commerce retail giant Amazon, has officially joined the space race when he announced his new venture, Blue Origin. It entered the orbital spaceflight technology business to supply rocket engines for other entities.

Those are the three companies that are aiming to conquer space and the visionary billionaires behind them. With their relentless dedication coupled with enormous financial investments, perhaps we will really witness space travel and tourism within our lifetime.
