Whether you’re already making use of Offcloud’s services, or you’re just curious about what we have to offer, you’ll probably already know that we offer a direct, instant downloading service, and the ability to fetch, convert and store any content available in the cloud that’s on the web. This is great and all, but how do you know exactly what we support to know what you can download and fetch? Well, that’s what we’re talking about today so if you’d like to know a bit more about exactly what we here at Offcloud support, then just keep on reading.

So, what’s supported?

Let’s talk links, shall we?

Any http/https/ftp link that points directly to data is supported! This means that if you have a link that goes directly to a video (for example, YouTube), or a piece of music that you can download, you can simply input that link into our instant download bar for a direct download of this data straight into your Offcloud cloud storage!

This same process works with BitTorrent links; so links that go to BitTorrent files are supported, and you can absolutely use these in the same way as the http/https/ftp links.

There are also a number of websites that are supported that work in a similar way to this. Although links to some websites won’t work, those that are in our list of supported websites will! Again, these work in the same way as the links we’ve mentioned above. You can find out which websites are supported in two ways.

Firstly, if you’re not a member of Offcloud yet and are looking to find out what websites are supported, click this link, or copy and paste this https://offcloud.com/list into your URL bar and go directly to the page. This will take you to a page that looks like this:

Then all you need to do is either Ctrl+F to search for the website you want, or simply scroll down to see what we have available.

If you’re a member of Offcloud who is logged in, then you can click this link, or visit this https://offcloud.com/#/sites URL. That will then take you to this page:

Logged in screen

On this page, you can not only see which websites we support, but also their status under the “diagnostic” section. This will inform you whether the connection to the website is good, or if it needs looking at. One of our team will address any issues that need taking care of as soon as they’re able, but if you notice something you think we haven’t, feel free to flag it with support.
